NOTE: Scudder PT is no longer accepting new patients.
Hello! I have spent the majority of my 35- year career practicing physical therapy in Northern Virginia. I have gained a wide range of experiences in outpatient orthopedics and school-based pediatric therapy. While working as a PT for Loudoun County Public Schools, I also served for four years as the head coach for JV and Varsity high school volleyball teams. I coached with local club teams over a 10 year period, and served as the Movement and Conditioning Coach for Virginia Elite Volleyball Club in 2008 as well. I love working with volleyball players!
I have been blessed with opportunities to help people around the globe. While living temporarily in Morocco I worked with disabled orphans. During a two-year stay in South Africa I earned an Honorary Physiotherapist license, working with cancer patients in a public hospital. I have travelled to Peru twice on week-long PT missions trips with other McKenzie-trained PTs where we treated patients in both rural and urban settings, relieving their pains and teaching them how to prevent recurrence. Treating the underserved is so rewarding, both professionally and personally.
I enjoy an active lifestyle including biking, weightlifting, yoga and Pilates. In my quiet moments I enjoy travelling with my husband, visiting my three grown daughters whenever I can, playing with our young grandsons, and taking long walks with our rescue dog Rio. I look forward to meeting you, and hearing your story
NOTE: New patients are no longer being scheduled.
